    2021 - PRESENT

    ➤ (21 - 22) Added a Class III Officer for Elementary (SRO remained at LMS and LHS. SRO’s are School Resource Officers/Lindenwold Police Officers and armed.)

    ➤ Addition of licensed therapists from a contracted agency is provided on-site to students. (Contracted Therapy)

    (2021 - 2022 First Children’s Services / Feb. 2020 first introduced with a previous contractor)

    ➤ (2022) Safety Vestibules added in each school (4, 5, LMS, LHS); (2024) Enhancing the safety vestibule at LHS with a transaction window (Summer 2024)

    ➤ (2021 - Present) Life-Lines Grant to review our policies, practices, procedures (suicide prevention)

    ➤ (2021 - Present) Begins in PK. Implemented Move this World Curriculum which focuses on: five core social emotional learning competencies as defined by the Collaborative of Academic, Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL)

    ➤ (2022 - 2023) Stop-It App (anonymous reporting) This is posted on our website, website shared with students, and you can download the app.

    ➤ (2022 - 2023) Added additional monitors to LHS to man the security desk after hours

    ➤ (2022 - 2023) Invited Representatives from NJ Homeland Security to visit all 4 of our owned buildings: 4, 5, LMS, LHS. They observed drills and "table-topped" with us after.

    ➤ (2023) Vape Sensors @ LHS (piloting) - also detection for fights

    ➤ (2023 - 2024) Revamped our Character Education LMS Class (Lion’s Way) & Freshman Seminar Classes

    ➤ (On-going) Handle with Care Training (46 staff were trained in 2023 - 2024) / re-certify our Handle with Care District Train the Trainer

    ➤ (2023 - 2024) Introduced an alternative educational program / “evening school” known as Twilight Program which serves grades 7- 12

    Moving Forward

    ➤(2024) Continue with the above and continue with re-entry meetings / return requirements (This began in spring 2023.)

    ➤(2024) Continue with offered assemblies for the remainder of the school year:

    •Oct. / Nov. Assemblies in October & November Narcotics Overdose Prevention Education (N.O.P.E.) presented to students in grades 7-12 on the dangers of narcotics and the prevention of overdose deaths.

    •January: Assembly in January, students in grades 5-6 heard from Detectives from the High Tech & Special Victims Unit of the Camden County Prosecutor's Office on the topic of cyberbullying and online safety. 

    ➤(2024) New cell phone practice at LMS. Cell phones must be kept into a student's locker / book bag.

    ➤(2024) Maintaining the staggered schedule for class changes

    ➤(2024) Additional police presence when needed

    ➤(2025) Re-districting 5th grade to the elementary schools (Opening of Early Childhood Center)  LMS will be approx. 250 students less in 2025 - 2026. 

    ➤ Continue to employ 4 Guidance Counselors (1 per grade) / 1 Substance Abuse Counselor assigned specifically to LMS  (5 counselors on site daily) for under 900 students (1:180 ratio @ Lindenwold)    (1:250 recommended by ASCA)
